Eugenia Geddes Da Filicaia

After studying first chemistry and then conservation of wall painting, and working as a
conservator and lecturer, Eugenia Geddes da Filicaia is currently undertaking a PhD under the supervision of David Peggie and Richard Evershed. Her project, a collaboration between the scientific department at the National Gallery and the chemistry department at the University of Bristol, aims to apply advanced mass spectrometry techniques to the study of organic materials in art to aid the conservation of paintings.
