Assoc. Prof. Stepanka Kuckova, Ph.D., is the Deputy Head of the Laboratory of Applied Proteomics at the University of Chemistry and Technology. She works also at the Faculty of Education at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. 19 years ago, as the first in the world her group has explored the utilization of mass spectrometry for the protein identification in insoluble matrices (artworks, mortars, bones). Authored 52 publications at WOS with more than 1100 citations.
